A 2.06ct Asscher cut lab grown diamond engagement ring, set on a gentle twist between diamond-set shoulders in 18ct white gold. An Asscher is a near-square step cut with cropped corners. Its long, straight facets step down toward the centre, so you see depth and broad flashes of light rather than scattered sparkle. The band doesn't meet the stone square-on. It curves slightly past it on each side, which gives a clean-lined cut a softer, more modern setting. A fine row of round brilliants runs down each shoulder, carrying some sparkle along the band while the centre stays in charge. In all white gold, nothing warms the diamonds, and the whole ring reads crisp and cool.

A note on lab grown diamonds
A lab grown diamond is a real diamond. It's chemically, optically and physically identical to a natural one. The only difference is how it formed: a natural diamond grew in the earth over billions of years, and a lab grown diamond takes a matter of weeks. Once they're cut and polished, only a gemmologist with specialised equipment can tell them apart.
