Valentina | 3.39ct Pear Lab Grown Diamond Hidden Halo Engagement Ring | 18ct Yellow and White Gold

Valentina is a 3.39ct pear cut lab grown diamond engagement ring, held in a white gold head with a hidden halo, on a tapered 18ct yellow gold band. Four claws hold the rounded end, and a V-claw caps the point, the most fragile part of the stone. Underneath, 22 small diamonds trace the outline of the pear in a hidden halo. From the front you see a clean solitaire, and from the side there’s a line of sparkle under the stone.

Colour: E. In the colourless range, one grade below the top.
Clarity: VVS2. Very, very slightly included, with any inclusions extremely hard to find even under magnification.
Type: CVD grown, Type IIa. Type IIa diamonds contain almost no nitrogen, the element that gives most diamonds a faint tint. Only about 1–2% of natural diamonds are Type IIa, but CVD growth produces it consistently.

A note on lab grown diamonds
A lab grown diamond is a real diamond. It’s chemically, optically and physically identical to a natural one. The only difference is how it formed: a natural diamond grew in the earth over billions of years, and a lab grown diamond takes a matter of weeks. Once they’re cut and polished, only a gemmologist with specialised equipment can tell them apart.
