A 1.07ct pear cut lab grown diamond solitaire engagement ring, held in white gold claws with a V-claw at the point, on a plain 18ct yellow gold band. A pear has one rounded end and one point, so it runs along the finger and has a sense of direction that rounds and ovals don't. It's less common than an oval but still classic. Two claws hold the rounded end, and a V-claw wraps the tip, the most fragile part of the stone and the most likely to chip if exposed. The band is plain polished yellow gold, with nothing to distract from the diamond. It's easy to clean, easy to resize and simple to pair with a wedding band later. White gold claws keep an E colour stone bright and white, and VVS2 clarity means it's very clean.
