A 1.24ct marquise lab grown diamond solitaire, set in white gold claws on a tapered 18ct yellow gold band. A marquise is long and pointed at both ends, so it runs along the finger and looks larger than its carat weight suggests. Those points are also the most delicate part of the stone, which is why the setting uses six claws rather than four. Four side claws hold the body of the diamond, and a V-shaped claw caps each tip to protect it from chipping. The claws are white gold, which keeps an E colour stone looking bright and white, and the yellow gold band tapers in toward the diamond so the whole ring stays slim and light.
