Why this ring works
The heart cut is one of the most personal diamond shapes we sell. It's a romantic, sentimental choice that doesn't try to look like anything else, and the people who pick it tend to know exactly why.
Cutting a diamond into a heart shape takes real skill. The two rounded lobes need to be perfectly symmetrical, the cleft at the top needs to be sharp and deep, and the point at the bottom needs to be clean.
The three-claw setting is the right choice for a heart cut. Two claws hold the rounded lobes at the top, one V-shaped claw protects the point at the bottom. The point is the most fragile part of the stone, where chips happen most easily if left exposed, so the V-claw acts as a protective cap.
The hidden halo is the detail you only see from the side. A ring of small diamonds sits in the gallery underneath the centre stone, only visible from an angle. From above, the ring reads as a clean heart solitaire. From the side, the halo catches light from angles a standard solitaire wouldn't.
All-white-gold design keeps the look clean and crisp. The diamond reads bright and icy, with no warm tones from yellow gold distracting from the heart shape.

A note on lab grown diamonds
Lab grown diamonds are made of the same material as mined diamonds: pure carbon, crystallised under intense heat and pressure. The only difference is where that process happens. Mined diamonds form over billions of years deep in the earth. Lab grown diamonds form in a controlled chamber over a matter of weeks, using the same chemistry. Chemically, optically and physically, the two are identical. Same hardness, same fire, same sparkle, same certification standards. No naked eye can tell them apart. Only a gemmologist with specialised lab equipment can identify the difference.
