A note on the grades: VS1 means very slightly included, clean to the eye, and fancy vivid is as saturated as a pink diamond grade goes. So this is top colour on a stone that is very hard to find in nature at all.

About lab grown diamonds
A lab grown diamond is a real diamond. It's the same material as a mined one, chemically and optically identical, with the same hardness and the same sparkle. The only real difference is the making: it forms over a matter of weeks in controlled conditions rather than billions of years underground, and once it's cut you can't tell one from the other by eye. What that really changes is access, especially with colour.
