0.52ct Pear Cut Lab Grown Diamond East-West Bezel Ring | 9ct Yellow Gold

A 0.52ct lab grown pear cut diamond ring, bezel set sideways on a curved 9ct yellow gold band. 

Setting the pear east-west, lying across the finger rather than pointing along it, changes the whole feel of the ring. It reads as more relaxed and less formal than a traditional upright solitaire. The band swings down under the stone and rises again on either side, so the setting looks like it's cradling the diamond rather than just holding it up.

A note on lab grown diamonds

A lab grown diamond is a real diamond. It's chemically, optically and physically identical to a natural one. The only difference is how it formed: a natural diamond grew in the earth over billions of years, and a lab grown diamond takes a matter of weeks. Once they're cut and polished, only a gemmologist with specialised equipment can tell them apart.
