Oval Ruby Pendant | Bezel Set | 9ct Yellow Gold

A single oval ruby held in a clean 9ct yellow gold bezel on a plain bail. Natural ruby, the July birthstone, kept as simple as it gets so the colour does all the work.

About ruby
Ruby is the red variety of corundum, the same mineral as sapphire, and one of the hardest gemstones there is after diamond. Its colour comes from traces of chromium, which give the best stones that vivid, unmistakable red. A hard-wearing stone that suits everyday wear and has been treasured for centuries.
