About the stones
The colour here comes from a graduated run of stones shifting through the purples and pinks, set so the shade changes gently from one end of the heart to the other rather than sitting all one tone. It's the kind of soft ombré effect that suits rose gold especially well, the warm metal pulling the pinks and violets together. To keep it looking its best, treat it gently: warm soapy water and a soft brush, kept clear of knocks and harsh chemicals, and it will hold that colour and shine for years.
