About the stones
Two pinks here, from two different families. Morganite is the peach-to-pink member of the beryl family, a close cousin of aquamarine and emerald, and it takes its soft blush colour from a trace of manganese. Pink tourmaline is the brighter of the two, part of a gem family that comes in a wider range of colours than almost any other, its pink again coming from manganese in the crystal. Both sit at a similar hardness and wear well day to day, and both love rose gold, which is why the setting suits them so well. Warm soapy water and a soft brush keep them bright.
