Maya | Emerald & Diamond Ring | 18ct Two-Tone Gold
An emerald cut emerald in a yellow gold bezel, framed by a scalloped diamond halo with a baguette diamond to each side, in two-tone 18ct gold.
Why this ring works
The emerald is the heart of it. A rich, deep green stone at 2.27 carats, bezel-set in warm yellow gold that wraps the stone completely and makes the green look even deeper. Emeralds are prized for exactly this colour, and a bezel like this protects the stone while showing it off.
The halo brings the sparkle. A scalloped ring of small round diamonds circles the emerald in white gold, with a step-cut baguette set into each shoulder, a nod to the Art Deco style. The white diamonds and white gold keep the setting bright and cool, which makes the green read richer by contrast.
The two-tone gold ties it together. Yellow gold holds the emerald and forms the band, white gold carries the diamonds, so warm and cool sit side by side and each lifts the other. A design that feels both vintage and quietly striking.

About emerald
Emerald is the green variety of beryl, coloured by traces of chromium and vanadium. Most emeralds carry natural inclusions, often called the jardin or garden, which are part of the stone's character and proof it grew in the earth. It's a stone best treated with a little care, kept away from ultrasonic cleaners, heat and harsh chemicals, but worn thoughtfully it's a treasure.
Hardness: 7.5–8 on the Mohs scale
Birthstone: May
