Lab Grown Marquise and Round Diamond Band | 0.75ct F/VS | 9ct Yellow Gold
A lab grown marquise and round diamond band in 9ct yellow gold.
The marquise diamonds lie sideways across the band, east-west, with a round brilliant between each one. That puts the long side of each marquise facing out, so you see the most of every stone, and the alternating shapes give the band a rhythm that a row of identical stones doesn’t have. Small V-shaped claws cap the tips of each marquise, protecting the points, which are the most fragile part of the shape. The rounds are held in fine claws between them.

A note on lab grown diamonds
A lab grown diamond is a real diamond. It’s chemically, optically and physically identical to a natural one. The only difference is how it formed: a natural diamond grew in the earth over billions of years, and a lab grown diamond takes a matter of weeks. Once they’re cut and polished, only a gemmologist with specialised equipment can tell them apart.
About diamond
Diamond is pure carbon, with its atoms locked into a tight cubic structure. That structure makes it the hardest natural material we know of. It also gives diamond its high refractive index, which is why well-cut brilliants send back so much light. Marquise and round cuts are both brilliant cuts, so they sparkle the same way. The difference here is shape, which is what gives the band its pattern.
