About heliodor

Heliodor is the golden-yellow member of the beryl family, the same mineral group as emerald and aquamarine. Its name comes from the Greek for "gift from the sun," which suits the warm honey-to-lemon colour. It's a clear, hard stone that takes a bright polish and wears well every day, and it's uncommon enough that most people won't have seen one before.
