A 2.05ct radiant cut lab grown diamond engagement ring, held in four white gold claws with a hidden halo, on an 18ct yellow gold band. A radiant has the rectangular outline and cropped corners of an emerald cut, but it's faceted like a brilliant, so it sparkles rather than giving the emerald cut's long, flat flashes. At just over two carats it has real presence on the hand. The halo sits underneath the stone rather than around it. From above the ring reads as a clean solitaire, and from the side a ring of small diamonds catches the light around the base. White gold claws keep a D colour stone completely white, and the yellow gold band brings the warmth.
