Why this ring works

The rubellite is a vivid, raspberry-pink stone at 3.16 carats, held in warm yellow gold claws that pick up its warmth. Around it sits an eight-sided diamond halo with a fine milgrain edge, and a baguette diamond set into each shoulder, which gives the ring its Art Deco, slightly antique feel. The white diamonds and white gold halo keep everything bright against the pink, while the yellow gold band adds warmth.

About rubellite

Rubellite is the rich pink-to-red variety of tourmaline, the most prized colour in the tourmaline family. Its warm, saturated pink comes from the stone itself, and it takes a bright polish. A hard, clear stone that wears well every day.
