There's no halo and no pavé, just one oval raised on four claws with a fine band leading into it. An oval sparkles like a round brilliant, but its longer outline runs along the finger and tends to look larger than its carat weight. The band narrows as it reaches the setting, drawing the eye to the stone and keeping the ring slim. This is where the two metals matter.
