Why this ring works

The sapphires do the talking. Twenty deep blue Australian sapphires sit in two close rows across the front of the band, with small white diamonds framing the edges and dropped between the sapphires to catch the light. The effect is a wide, richly coloured band that reads as one continuous sweep of blue and sparkle rather than a row of separate stones.

Blue and white is a classic pairing for a reason. The diamonds brighten the deep sapphire colour and add flash around it, while the warm yellow gold keeps the whole thing rich rather than cold. It has real presence on the finger, but the round stones and clean rows keep it wearable every day.
