A 3.04ct square cushion cut lab grown diamond engagement ring with a diamond halo and a diamond-set band, in 18ct yellow gold with a white gold halo and setting. A cushion is a square shape with softly rounded corners, the modern descendant of the old mine cuts of the 1800s, so it has a vintage feel with modern sparkle. The pavé halo around it joins the centre into one larger bright shape, and at three carats that makes a lot of ring. The pavé continues down the shoulders and onto the band. Underneath, the stone sits in a cathedral-style basket with sweeping white gold supports that lift it and let light in from below. It's a detail you won't see in the photos, but you'll notice it on the hand. The halo and claws are white gold so the E colour centre stays bright and white, and the yellow gold band brings warmth.

A note on lab grown diamonds
A lab grown diamond is a real diamond. It's chemically, optically and physically identical to a natural one. The only difference is how it formed: a natural diamond grew in the earth over billions of years, and a lab grown diamond takes a matter of weeks. Once they're cut and polished, only a gemmologist with specialised equipment can tell them apart.
