Rhodolite is a member of the garnet family, known for its deep raspberry-pink to wine-red colour, richer and more violet-toned than a ruby, brighter and more saturated than a standard red garnet. It's a natural, untreated gemstone, and one of the most underrated coloured stones in the trade. Rhodolite at this saturation typically gets compared to expensive pink sapphires or rubies but sits at a fraction of the price.

The bezel settings with milgrain edging do two specific jobs. The bezel (where the gold wraps fully around the edge of each stone) protects the garnets from impact and keeps the earrings snag-free against hair, scarves and clothing, meaning these are studs you can genuinely wear daily without worrying about catching them. The fine milgrain detail (the beaded texture around each bezel) adds a heritage inspired element.
