Fiona | 0.72ct Oval Halo Lab Grown Diamond Engagement Ring | Diamond Set Band | 9ct White Gold
A 0.72ct oval brilliant cut lab grown diamond, F colour, framed by a halo of round brilliant diamonds and set on a diamond-set 9ct white gold band.
Why this ring works
The halo is one of the smartest ways to get maximum presence from your centre stone. A ring of small diamonds encircles the oval, so the whole cluster reads as a single, much larger sparkling shape.
The oval itself is a beautifully flattering shape, its elongated outline drawing the eye down the finger, and here it sits face-up and bright at F colour, near the very top of the scale.
The diamond-set band continues the brilliance all the way down each shoulder, so the ring catches light from every angle.
All-white gold keeps the look crisp and modern and lets every diamond read bright and icy, with no warmth from the metal to interrupt the colour.

A note on lab grown diamonds
A lab grown diamond is a real diamond. It's identical to a natural diamond chemically, optically, and physically. The only difference is how it formed: a natural diamond grew in the earth over billions of years, while a lab grown diamond was created in a matter of weeks under the same conditions of heat and pressure. Once they're cut and polished, only a gemmologist with specialised equipment can tell them apart.
What is a Type IIA diamond?
Type IIA is the rarest classification of diamond. Only about 1 to 2 percent of natural diamonds qualify, because the structure contains almost no nitrogen, which is what gives most diamonds a faint colour tint. Type IIA stones are the purest and most chemically perfect diamonds on earth. In a natural diamond this purity is extraordinarily rare and priced accordingly. CVD lab grown technology can produce Type IIA diamond.
