Emerald, oval, pear and round stones sit side by side, the greens running from deep forest through to fresh lime with warm yellow stones worked in between, so no two spots on the band look quite the same. Every stone gets its own bezel, a full gold rim that holds it and separates it from its neighbour, which keeps a busy mix looking tidy rather than cluttered. The greens and yellows come from three different gem families. Sapphire is corundum, one of the hardest stones there is after diamond, and it grows in far more than blue, including these clean greens and golds. Tourmaline is prized for the sheer range of greens it comes in.
